when I type a d it shows a dk on the screen or if I type an i it shows a ]i and when I use backspace it shows an 8 on the screen
Very probably a new keyboard needs to be fitted. The key errors you mention do not suggest a software error or an incorrect setting. Contact Acer if your laptop is still covered by their warranty.
