I have uninstalled ASK but the toolbar is still there. I just want to take it off so i can go back to chrome without the Ask toolbar which is a really irritating search, Is there anyone please who can talk me through how to do that. I would be v grateful. Thanks Karen

If it's still there after rebooting see Ask's own page, which offers a clean-up utility.

✔ Best Answer
In the future, pay closer attention to the screen when installing software. Don't be too quick to click 'next' without checking what you're agreeing too. A lot of programs come bundled with crapware (ask toolbar, bing toolbar, google toolbar, google chrome, etc), Java is only one of a long list.
