why are all my icons adobe when i downlad adobe on windows 7?

See if restarting will fix that. If not, do a system restore.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

YEA! Same here!! All of my folders look like recycling bins... EVERY SINGLE icon on my desktop. But my mozilla fiefox, itunes, other shortcuts ... you see their symbol, but there's a recycling bin covering it. When I try to create new folders, they automatically turn into recycling bins!!! When I click on the applications, they go to the right place, but it just bugs me that all the icons look like stupid recycling bins!
I have windows 7 starter and a Toshiba netbook.

I tried to restart, making a new administrator account, right clicking it and click "properties"... nothing works!!
