I recently had my hard drive upgraded to an SSD but since the installation the touch pad on my Acer Aspire 4750 is not working. I clicked the Fn/F7 buttons to make sure it was turned on and even checked the connection under the keyboard. All drivers are updated on the computer as well. Any suggestions? Chuck

Try uninstalling it in Device Manager and then 'detect new hardware' or restart the machine to reinstall it. This is especially useful if there is a bad or corrupt driver that is not allowing the correct driver to properly install over it. You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
The HDD is immediately next to the touchpad. Is it possible something was dislodged in the install?
It's not showing up in the device manager, it's as if it's not there. I removed the key board to check the connection and everything appears to be ok.
