Zenith z-180 laptop

hellp i have a ZENITH Z-180 LAPTOP and i have had to format it and then do a f-disk because of "PROGMAN.EXE" at start up whould not load after a long time trying to fix this problem i come to fdisk and now i cannot get anything up the onlt thing that comes up is "ivalied system disk" even tho there is not a disk in? can someone please help me i have the windows 3.11 for workgroups disks please can someone give me simple help on how to install dos and windows. I use this computer for school. and it has been a pain.

www.bootdisk.com get a dos 6.22 boot disk. boot with it, and it;ll start the format. fdisk only shows you the c: partition, and the option to remove it and reset it. come back here if you need more

i dout think that there is dos on the system because somone tolled me if you do a f-disk it wipes EVERYTHING from the computer but unless there is dos on the windows disks i do not have it.

You're at square one right now. You have a doorstop that can be a computer if you install DOS and Windows. The DOS install disk_1 will boot the system and allow you to install. Do you have the floppies?
