Hello i need a Drvier For my Z-NoteFlex for Sound
i remmber it was something like Crystal Semiconductor or something before the Diskette is gone to his own world. I Searched for 48 howers trying to figure it out but no luck. I Even Go back to internet archive to find ZDS website driver, but i have faild. i also tryed Driverguide etc.. no help. nothing works. does someone here have idea? it has a Built-in sound , and when i was using win95 on it it says : "Windows Sound System"

Z-Note flex what - there are lots of these - what model number? What processor? Etc. Etc.
If the model number can be pinned down, a manual may tell you what sound chip(s) it uses, or it may make it a lot easier to find the sound drivers.
"when i was using win95 on it it says : "Windows Sound System"
All that means is there were drivers installed, possibly installed by default y Windows, that supported Windows Sound System, which is built into Win 9x and up.
For Win 3.1 you must have Win 3.1 drivers, and you must enable multimedia support to support sound (this may be done by the driver setup). I'm not sure if multimedia support is already there in Win 3.11.
You could also supply your bios string -
go here www.wimsbios.com, download Bios Agent - run it - tell us everything it finds - a bios string can often help find a lot of other information about a computer.

The model is:
Z-NoteFlex
Proccsesor: 486DX/56hz (i think 56 not sure)
Memory: 8MB Ram
Year: 1993-1994.
IT is a Laptop.
i hope it will help somehow.

Crystal Semiconductors is now owned by Cirrus Logic, they have abandoned the sound chips bussines but you can find drivers for their old sound chips here:
http://www.cirrus.com/en/support/drivers/index.htmlOf course, you must now what kind of chipset you have.
