Hello!

I want to run a wordprocessing program on my 3.11 machine. I've been running Works 4 on this machine before, but since my disks are broken now, i have no word processing program.

My question is, are there any free 16-bit alternatives around? What do you other guys use?

Cheers

I just use a DOS text editor.

But If you want a full on word proc, look for WordStar 4. The whole thing fits on one floppy.

Also, the first GUI WordPerfect 5.2 was pretty neat. Not something I'd say of it's predecessors.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Hi M2,

Yep, I kept all my business records on an 8088 with Works 2...db, spreadsheets, reports, correspondence, etc. and sent that stuff to customers and government agencies with a 2300 baud modem.

It all worked just as well and just as fast as I'm currently doing it.
