try a newer version of windows nt.
I loaded nt 3.1 only to discover that drivers were very hard to find and nobody uses it so I could not find any websites instructing me how to use it. Searches on google.com turned up windows nt 4.0 only.

hehehe.. wow! what a collectors item! u know.. I had that in my hand at a computer fair and could have bought it for $1.00!!! GRRRR oh well.. too late now..

but .. I did buy a used version of Windows NT 3.51 for $10.. and it does have that retro classic UI that nt 3.1 does.. but unlike NT 3.1, NT3.51 has many drivers on the net!!! well.. more than NT 3.1 at least. hehehe. but NT 3.51 has OpenGL support.. NT 3.1 does not. NT 3.51 also has a service pack 5 for rock solid bug free! as well as Internet Explorer 5 ...

sorry I digress. try driver-guide.com.. maybe u will find it there...i doubt it though.. your best bet would be to follow the hcl and find a legacy cd-rom. actually, a better approach would be to find a legacy scsi card. that way you can use a fast scsi cdrom of today at 50x instead of a legacy atapi at 2x during the nt 3.1 days.. hehehe
