Just curious if anyone knows weather or not Microsoft released a non-beta Media Player 5.2 for Win 3.1x??? All the links I find are for beta version only.

I am not sure but I think the one with all the bugs is the last one we will see from MS. Don't think there is any incentive for them to fix that version.
