Hello, I have delphi and visual basic for win3.x, but I can't do so much with this... so I want to know another programming tools... like C/C++ programming tools, I don't care if it's difficult, I just want to do something good with windows 3.x like a simple version of firefox, I know it's difficult, but I think it's possible, and a MSN client, and maybe a MP3 player with playlist...

well, that's all.. thank you all...

You could use Borland C++ 5.0/5.01, Symantec C++ 7.21 or (Open)Watcom c/c++.
You can read about those compilers here: http://www.tarma.com/index.htm#/art...

OpenWatcom is free and open source, you can download it here: http://www.openwatcom.org/index.php...
(It doesn't have a win31 distribution, but you can download win32 installer and unzip it using pkunzip)

Open Watcom can generate native Win16 programs, both 16-bit and 32-bit (using an extender: as far as I know, there is no need for Win32s to run them).

Also, if you want, you can generate Win32 programs and, if you are careful enough to avoid unsupported APIs, they might run in Win32s (I just do not remember if the compiler generates .relloc tables by default)

I wanna do some things for windows 3.1, like a MSN client and make mozilla run there, I think it's very difficult but I think that is possible!
