To those who asked if inter-networking is possible with Win3.1, Microssoft internet explorer 3 for Windows 3.1x comes with all that is needed for a machine to configured so as to gain access to internet. Be sure and install the script dialer and TCP/IP stack that comes with it. Here is the URL, if interested: http://msdownload.microsoft.com/msdownload/ie3/win31/dl/dlbas30f.exe
I post this because I've found it so hard to find in the end. Apparently M$ has removed overt references on their webpage to anything which preceeds Windows 95! Well there it is for all (3) of you who asked.

Hi,
why don't you try the IE 5 for Win 3.1x?? http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/iebuild/ie5_win16/en/ie5_win16.htm
You'll need at least a 486/25 and 16 MB memory.
Bye, Gaby

For MS IE 5.0 for Win 3.x at 8.86 MB, try completelyfreesoftware.com under Win 3.1/DOS Internet. The file name is CFS Microsoft IE V5. I have used for 2 years without any problems on 486-66 8MB Win 3.11 WFW.
