I'm presently fixing an older PC for a friend of mine... I want to put Windows 3.11 on it, I have the software, but here's the problem... I have them backed up on another PC and they are all in one directory. I have no idea which files should be on each of the 8 install floppy disks. Is there anywhere I can get a list of which files are supposed to be on which disk? I've been hunting for hours now, and I'm running out of options and patience. ;-)

That was my first thought but I don't have a packing.lst on my Wfw3.11 upgrade set. I'd was sure all these old win editions did, but I guess not...don't find one on my 3.1 set either.

Transfer all the files from the backup directory to a directory on the old PC, and just run the install from that folder...windows doesn't have a problem installing like that (from a harddrive) , and it's faster, anyways
