Working on an old lab PC, running windows 3.11 for Workgroups. Filemanger opens up partially off the screen. Can't get to the title bar to pull it back on screen. Is there a short cut for that??

humm sounds like a real mouse trap

{edit the ini file that contains the stored position for a window}
or
{grab the corner you can see and expand the window}
or
{when a window is in focus press the the alt key
once to select the menu
then press the down arrow to make the menu drop down
using up down left and right arrow keys
select the system menu then chose move and hit enter
using the arrow keys position the window as you like
}

usefull shortcuts
alt+tab to switch windows
alt+F4 to close windows
tab to switch text fields

you wont get much done on any computer
if you dont use your keyboard

if all else fails exit to dos and type dosshell

Close Winfile. Open DOSPrompt and delete c:\windows\winfile.ini
Open Winfile.

Make sure that the file manager is active. Then hit ALT+SPACE then hit M. You should then be able move the window around with the arrow keys.
