I just buy an usb 2 pci adapter 4 ports to use the scanner hp 2200c... they work in windows 98Se and windows me... they work in windows 3.1? how to give usb support to windows 3.1?
can i upgrade to windows nt from windows 3.1? system: 2 gb hd 32 mb ram pentium 166 3 pci 3 isa s3 trio 64v+ 2mb ram creactive snd blaster 32 pnp with ide controller if yes , where can i download it and how install it , in better way?

You can't give usb support to Win 3.1 but there is some limited support for DOS.

Yes, but Windows NT 3.51 has no USB support either. Better to upgrade to Win98SE (that machine should handle it)...

Well, although i didn't see any particular reference to NT351, version 4 of nt *does* support USB with a third party add-on.. Most hardware level additions in win31 are done in dos, instead..this would include USB..if you can get the dos USB drivers out there to work for you (they don't always work for everybody) them win31 will recognize any dos-loaded USB device...
