I want know about th compatibility of Windows 3.1 with Pentium III 733Mhz. This is because I have Old Programs which will run only in Windows 3.1. If there any trick to work please inform me

Windows 3.x will run just fine on today's faster computers like yours. However, make sure you have a FAT16 partition before you try to install Win3.x

The older Windows versions, like Win3.x, were designed to work only on FAT16 partitions. The FAT32 partitions that Win98 uses will not work.

I plan to do the same shortly--load Windows 3.1 on my PIII. Not for program compatability, but for the love of the awesome simplicity and speed of Win3.1 :-)
