Reply: (edit)You can setup windows 3.1 on your machine if your HD was FAT.Be sure you run custom setup, and DO NOT name the win 3.1 folder as winnt or windows(name the win 3.1 folder "win31")

Reply: (edit)I have Windows 3.11 with Camira shell peacefully coexisting with Windows 98SE on FAT32. I used a patch for the Windows 98SE IO.SYS which allows Windows 3.1 to work on FAT32. The patch is named 3XStart and can be downloaded at PowerLoad. The address is http://www.powerload.fsnet.co.uk/win3x.htm (at bottom of page). Make sure you use custom install and select a directory other than Windows.
