Well, I guess the question is - what happened to it? You can expand a fresh copy from your installation disks - it'll be on disk4 or 5 expand a:win386.ex_ c:\windows\system\win386.exe If you don't have 'expand.exe' it'll be on disk3 or thereabouts Why don't they make computers that will do what we think we want them to do?

Well, sure - although it's good to know how to pull files off of the disks - assuming the OP has them. Files rarely just disappear - there may be more to this, and there may be a question of version (you never know how accurate the specs are) Why don't they make computers that will do what we think we want them to do?
