I was playing with Win32s and, although it is very limited, it is funny. I was trying to execute an app anbd i got "Win95 or NT needed". I know if it is displaying that message it is probably because Win95 or NT is needed, but it rembered me of an app I've downloaded once but the site I got it went offline, I lost the file and when i try searching in google it gives me tons urelated sites.
The little program is called winlie, I think. It lies about windows version to programs, making them think they are in a version, and it fools Win32 progs too, making them think they are under Windows 95 or above.
If someone knows where to get it please tell me where

Is this the site
http://www.windowsnetworking.com/kbase/WindowsTips/WindowsXP/AdminTips/Miscellaneous/Lietoincompatibleprograms.html

It is a NT/2K/XP program. It is not the one I need in 3.11 but it shure will help me running some 9x games tht detect and refuses to work in XP (and I have many :-).
The following text was extracted from "Stephan's Win32s compatibility list" (stephan.win31.de/w32slist.htm):For further enlightenment I've cited from various posts from Paul Chitescu (hope he doesn't mind):

Top reasons why a 32-bit applications won't run on Win32s :. * They use fixed address that are unavailable in Win32s
. * The installer wants NT or 9x - but there are solutions ...
. [see his user page's software directory]
. * Use multithreading (but 95% of them dont' really need MT)
. * Use functions implemented in IE4 - 32bit
[Active Desktop or the Windows Scripting Host, for example]
. * Are linked to Win32 specific thunking code
. * Are linked to Win9x specific DLL ordinalsI got winlie from Paul Chitescu user page's software directory, but now the link is broken
