Get Virtual PC 2004!! :D I use that 2 emulate Windows 3.1, 95, 98, and NT!! :D (and once I tried emulating 2k3, but I didnt have enough memory...) Also, the program says it's not gonna work in other OS than WinXP Pro or Win2k Pro... but I use it on WinXP Home and it works!! :D
MS VPC 2004 isn't supported on anything other than 2000 Pro and XP Pro, but as far as I know, it'll work fine on just about any version of 2000, XP, and 2003.

That just means that if you have a problem with it in XP Home, 2003, or something like that, they won't help with it. They'll only offer help and support if you're running it on 2000 Pro or XP Pro. (probably because they like to get people to spend the unnecessary extra $100 on XP Pro)

Actually, there are 2 emulators that I know of that can run Windows 3.1 (Bochs x86 and Virtual PC). If your a power user that wants to run Windows 3.1 with full SoundBlaster and Hi-res (1024x768 16-bit color), then I highly recommend Virtual PC. You can probably find a downloadable trial version of Virtual PC if you do a google search. I'm using Virtual PC 5.1 (It runs on Win98SE, WinME,Win2k, and WinXP Home and Pro). If you want to run Windows 3.1 just for the hell of it, and learn about setting up a emulated machine (and try a free and open-source alternative, then I recommend Bochs x86). It also runs on Win9x,Win2k, WinXP (Note, the highest resolution Windows 3.1 can run on Bochs x86 is 800x600 16 colors). Bochs x86 is cool in that you can also run Desqview/X 2.1 (which also has a Windows 3.x Subsystem that runs in Standard Mode), and Windows NT 3.1 (Note, the installation steps are complicated, so if you need help, email me at rkix@msn.com and put the subject as "WinNT 3.1 Installation", otherwise, it will be deleted as spam).
