I use Windows 3.11 on a virtual PC. But I've problems with networking and must upgrade to Win for Workgroups. But I can't find it anywhere. Can someone please upload or send WfW per mail ( rene.perse@ge-nettetal.de ) or give me a url where I can download it??? please

I have been told in the past that WIN 3.1 came before WIN 3.11 and only the correct operating system disks have the options and bare file system needed for WFW. The downloads are mutated forms of these disks rarely duplicate. Dave the snake

Windows 3.11 was a minor update to Windows 3.1 and has nothing to do with WFW 3.11 which is an entirely different thing. I don't recall if there was a free update from 3.1 to WFW or not, but I don't think there was. As suggested above I would recommend checking eBay or your local used software dealer for it.

Win 3.x and wfw are widely available on the net. If you look hard enough you'll find them. Wfw will install happily over win 3.1 keeping your existing setup intacked and add network functionality.
