NIC's have an assigned MAC address, this can be found by running the Diagnostic Utility included with the full NIC driver download from the manufacturer, this is usually an MSDOS3.3 (or later or equivelent DOS) file..............

If all the stickers are intact, most old nic's had the mac printed on a little sticker.
