Comment:
Can anyone supply me with a generic win3.1 hp deskjet driver which supports black/white & colour printing. My current file HPDSKJET.DRV file only support black & white. The printer driver which came with the new printer (HP610c) occupies too much memory on my old machine and will not load. I can't buy the memory any more so need help!! Many thanks
Simple answer is NO, But you can try the 500c Deskjet Driver, this is the oldest color printer HP did,and is on the Win31 disks, - but not sure if it will work with 610c or Seek out HP Driver site via www.windrivers.com/company.htm

The HPDSKJET.DRV is located in the "Windows 98" disk at D:\win98\DRIVER16.CAB, depending on which drive your computer uses as the CD ROM dive. It is also located in the "Windows ME" disk at D:\win9x\DRIVER6.CAB.

Summary: Probably, assuming you find the correct drivers for it (and they may not be specified as "HP Deskjet 845 drivers", may be from an entirely different printer)... ...
