Dear... Does anyone know of a good e-mail checker, preferably free, for WFWG. Notify looked as if it had promise but kept telling me that my connetion to the pop3 server was impossible. I want something that I can use to delete unwanted mails before downloading, like Magic Mail Monitor. Thanks, John

If you're just wanting to check before you download to your e-mail client, then E-mail Notify may be all you need (small-252KB)

With (email) notify , I recall it took me a bit of tweaking to get the right entry under 'pop server' , different apps want it entered differently- eg. some want pop.mymail.com, some just want mymail.com, and so forth..it ended up OK eventually...

Hi T-R-A, I agree, but I can't seem to get the damn thing configured right. I keep getting the message "Error: connection to pop3 server impossible" I've tried every bloody server name I can think of. Usually it's idirect.com or mail.look.ca, but neither of these works.
