Win 95 Modem driver for Win 3.1

Will a USR Win Modem driver for Win 95 work on OS Win 3.1 ? I have a USR Sportster 33.6 and the only driver I can find is for Windows 95.

I dont think so.... but I could be wrong...
my experience is that you dont need a driver at all for modems to work in 3.1 anyways...
try search for it on this site, www.windrivers.com, and www.driversguide.com

Sorry Windows 95 Modem Drivers will not work with Windows 3.1
However as Jeff says, you should not need one, as modem are recognised in a differant way with 3.1

I have an usr Sport.modem and to work on win 95 I have to change the jumpers to com 4/irq3 but on win3.11 i use the standard com/irq hope this help,my friend and I spent about 30 hours going thro all the ports,etc to get it working
