Yak there should be a HP500 driver with the win 3.x install disks. Just go to main-control panel-printers-add/install printer. Select Hewlett Packerd-Deskjet 500. You will be prompted for the disks.

Many thanks Mark p but file isn't for me - Brother-in-law just bought 2nd hand pc with 3.11 installed but no disks. He bought HP 500 printer & gets prompted for disk he doesn't have. Hence, phone call to me for assistance - no problem says I, I'll download one from the net!! I tried downloading the w3.11 disk 7 but not sure if driver is there. I need to put the file on floppy & post it. So again, would v much appreciate file or link. Tks all, Yak
