Comment: Hi! My firm use Win 3.11 for Workgroups in network. I would like a command line program, what able to share directory in my hard drive. Please help me! Thanx!!!

I think You'll need to share it at the old-fashioned way: COnsidering that you already have selected "I want to share my Files..." in Network Setup in Win3.11, go use the File Manager and share the folder (using the menu or button bar), give it a proper name. Then if you want to connect to that shared folder from another computer that can be running Microsoft client for networks or a DOS window, type NET USE X: \\COMPUTER\shared_folder (where X: is the drive letter you want assigned to, COMPUTER is the name of your computer, and shared_folder is the name you gave to the shared folder.

Reply: (edit)Thanks for your help, but I know this way. My real problem is, How can i share my directory without File Manager, at command line program? We have about 600 clients, there is Win 3.11 clients, WinNt clients and BootEprom clients in a WinNt Domain. I don't know, where are Win 3.11 clients, but I would like to share their Windows directory remotely. Thanx for Your help!
