There is no such thing as a Windows 3.1 Boot Disk, in the true sense! What you need is a MS-DOS Boot Disk. From File Manager, Select Disk, then Format Disk, Select Full Format plus Add System Files. This will give you a MS-DOS Boot Disk. Copy Autoexec.Bat & Config.Sys from your C:\ root directory onto your New MS-DOS Boot Disk. Open the copied files on your A: Drive with MS-DOS Edit and change entries to point to A: Drive
i.e.
Change
DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.exe NOEMS
To read
DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS
(This is just an example)Next copy all files that are called for in Autoexec.Bat & Config.Sys from C:\DOS (Or C:\Windows in some cases) to your Floppy Boot Disk.
Other files you may need are Format.exe, Sys.com, Edit.com & Qbasic.exe plus any other file you think you may need to access or repair your PC! (You can create more than one Boot Disk!)
Turn off PC then back on to test disk. Watch for any error messages or missing files.
You should now have a 'Windows. Boot Disk!

i want to ask.my computer do not show c-drive or a-drive it only shows the setup part.how can i create a bootup disk

When I start my computer, it tells me to insert the DOS boot disk. I put it in. But, when I type C:\Win, it says "Invalid Drive Specification." How can I boot Windows 3.11?
