I had the same problem with an old machine running a dos program in a Windows 3.11 shell. I found the new Microsoft Virtual PC program great and it solved the problem. I Even got Windows 1.01 (1985) to work under xp pro! Regards from sunny Iceland Preben

You could also dual-boot using two hard drives or two partitions on the same drive.
