If you want to use Fat 32 and Dos 7.1 with windows 3.1, the program 3Xstart.exe 45Kb is available at: http://www.powerload.fsnet.co.uk/win3x.htm You can easily create a copy of Windows 95 dos or Windows 98 dos for personal use by copying the content of the Windows\Command dos files to one or two diskettes. Also copy the EMM386.exe and Himem.sys and other files that you find useful from the Windows folder.Use your boot disk of same OS to sys the C drive and create a dos directory or folder where you install the dos files.Create the config.sys and autoexec.bat for sound, CD-ROM, memory management etc. and you will have a modern dos system that can be used in many different ways.Good luck.

Does warwaste happen to stand for "what a real waste"?? Because that's what running Win 3.11 on that machine would be LOL
I'm really not trying to offend anyone or start anything. I just saw the name and the specs and that's what popped in my head, so I had to say it :)
Happy and Safe computing, Sandman

What do you really want ? if you just want the Win 3.1 interface, just install Windows 95-98-Me and go in C:\Windows and edit Windows.Ini if I remember. Replace the line "Shell=Explorer.EXE" by "Shell=Progman.EXE", simple !
