Will not boot

My old Packard Bell will not boot up.It sounds a series of 5 beeps. Monitor will not work or nothing. Any help would be great.

5 beeps means something like System Timer or Processor failure. In any case there's something wrong with your board :(

bob your hard drive has crashed is the reason nothing won't work or a connection has failed in the hook up to the hard drive

Hello, might check your memory or your video card if the computer has one, also if it's a 486 it will have non-edo memory.
