newdos.yginfo.net/msdos71.htm and it seems the site has disappeared? I was gonna see if mini-win98 was there too.

I ran across the same problem with that link during the redesign of my website recently. I left the link up, hoping it was just down temporarily, but it's been down for a while now. Hopefully we'll find out what the problem is soon.

I was once known as PC Freak. I always hated that name.

Thanks for your concern!

Unfortunately, The HTTP download server for "newdos.yginfo.net" was down a few days ago due to a server problem (but the FTP upload server still works). We are trying to find a solution currently.

"http://www.ipdown.com/msdos71/index.htm" is another case. We no longer use this server, so the temporary MS-DOS 7.10 page on this server was transfered (moved) to the following address about one month ago:

http://dos.e-stone.cn/msdos71/index.htm

In other words,

"http://www.ipdown.com/msdos71/index.htm"

becomes

"http://dos.e-stone.cn/msdos71/index.htm",

which should work fine.

P.S. I'm afraid I'll be even busier than I am so that I won't have much time to go to the web.

Good to hear that it's just a server problem since everything old seems to be disappearing lately. Man I have removed a bunch of bookmarks from some of my old favorite sites.

Yup, definitely good to know. I had to remove multiple links from my site as well recently because of sites that aren't around anymore.

Also good that there is a working mirror available for this one until the main server is back.
