hi all,

I tried to install ms-dos 7.1 and wfw 3.11 on virtual pc. Ms-dos installed fine... I wanted to install wfw 3.11 and the installation freezes when i must enter my name and company name and product key. I tried it several times but it happens everytime. does someone knows what the problem is ?? please help me

Are you using MS-DOS 7.10?
For some reason Windows 3x doesn't work in Virtual PC if run on MS-DOS 7.10. When I tried it the same thing happened. Try using MS-DOS 6.22. That will work better.

Have you installed VPC additions for DOS?
Those will cause Windows to fail at booting.
I don't know if they'd also cause the installation to crash but if you installed additions, try removing them.
