I removed WinBootDir=xx from msdos.sys then Windir=xx but none made a difference. It still says i'm installing from Win95. Any Ideas?

Then, you can use this way:

...
ENVMASTR /l winbootdir=
SET CTCM=... (the path)
CTCM.EXE
...

BTW, this is the way I'm using in my AUTOEXEC.BAT(MS-DOS 7.10).

This is turning into a I love Jazza Forum!

Webmaster please note!

This is not what Computing.Net is all about. Its bad enough that many problems are not followed up by the poster to say if solution worked or not, without private messages as well.

If a registered member of Computing.Net wants to get in contact with another registered member who chooses not to post their E-mail address...all they have to do is logg into My Computing.Net... then scroll down to the bottom of the page & they will see the following text:

Write someone a message:

Just fill out the form, then press the Add Message button & their message will be sent to the other registered member...I don't know how much text can be sent in the message, but this feature does work...

Jazza,

Try clicking on his name, as it is underlined it will display his e-mail address. This is an anti-spam feature.

At post 4 you say Wengier has no e-mail address. Now you know TWO ways to contact a member!
