Hi, I have an old IBM laptot running win 3.1. I would like to know if it is possible to connect a webcam and if yes wich software can I use to capture video?

Webcams require a machine with much higher specs than yours.

Typically minimum specs would be 98SE and a USB port.

Why don't they make computers that will do what we think we want them to do?

Using Win 3.x, the best you probably can do is capture stills, using a parallel port adapter.

Sure - I've got a 'toy' (low res) AOL digital camera that connects to the serial port - I believe it'll run with 3.1


Why don't they make computers that will do what we think we want them to do?
