You need to load the mouse driver in the AUTOEXEC.BAT

LH C:\MOUSE\MOUSE.exe

Substitute the correct directory name for your system in the above line.

To bring up WIN3.1 add these as the LAST two lines in your AUTOEXEC.BAT.

CD C:\WINDOWS
WIN

You may also want to change your prompt command to:

PROMPT $P$G

Your mouse has to work without DOS driver loaded. Did you choose the correct mouse when you installed Win 3.11?

Try the DOS command MSD to see what mouse you have connected.....

BTW all your references to C:\WINDOWS can be changed to C:\DOS if you have 6.22
(Exept for DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\IFSHLP.SYS)

change your path to:

PATH=C:\DOS;C:\WINDOWS

MSD will pick up the the mouse ONLY IF the the Dos driver is loaded lol.

be-in the c:\windows directory type setup and try a veriaty of drivers, one should work.

Good luck. As Soedesh has sugested Win 3.x doesn't need the Dos driver.
