Also how do I control sound volume? I just inherited this system and trying to use it (486-33hz Win 3.11-Dos 6.2-1994 Packard Bell and it has only used for one year (Like New) Can you Help??

Hi dc: If you have a sound card & software installed, then I believe that you should have a sound folder in Program Manager. There should be a volume control icon & icons for other sound programs. If not then try a search in File Manager for c:\ , search for *.exe files, then look for a sound directory & try some of the exe files that might open the volume control.

That depends on what sound driver you use. Some drivers let you set the volume. From CONTROL PANEL, access DRIVERS, select your sound driver and clik setup. See what it says.
