How do I set up the display adapter without having to run windows 3.11. Windows 3.11 cannot run without it . Wrong Display monitor was set up. error message "error occured while trying to iniatialize video adaptor"

From the DOS prompt simply type: CD Windows [press enter] setup [press enter] In the dialogue box, select "Display" and change it to "VGA" and click OK. That will restore the default VGA driver Windows uses for the intitial install.
