I am getting the following message (after IE4.0 crashes) too frequently for my liking ;
'cannot find a device file that may be needed to run windows in enhanced mode.
You need to run the setup program again
VFINTD.386
press a key to continue'
thanks
Martin

Make sure the sys.ini file has the VFINTD.386
listed in a category called [386 Enh]. The
proper protocol is "Device=vfintd.386"

If unsure at all of what you're doing, don't!

whenever i start up my computer, I get an error message saying that "vfintd.386" is missing from C:\Dos . it says that the system.ini file is looking for it and that the computer might not function without it. if anyone knows where i can get this file, please send it to me- xfan9000@yahoo.com
