Solved Can’t find skype download link for Windows 8 (Post 1)

If you are looking for the app then the easiest way is to click on the ‘store’ icon on the Start screen and then search for ‘skype’ – it should be the first choice that appears, just tap on it and it will install.

It’s also worth checking to make sure you haven’t already got it as a lot of the Windows 8 machines I’ve seen already have it installed, you just need to run it.
