Hi! I have my old win 3.11 which I still adore (even though I now have a xp & win 98 on two other pc's)... However, does anyone out there have a practical use for such an old pc? It's a 486, win 3.11, vga monitor, cd rom & sound cards, 16 meg ram and 25 mhz. I'd hate not having a use for it, other than nostalgia..... Please email me too on me@gerwyn-knight.co.uk - thanks! Ger

It can be used for wordprocessing for sure, but then it can still surf the net and do plenty more! If you visit my page, you will find that there is plenty of software still available for your older system, enough to put it to good use!

It might be especially good for porn surfing because a lot of the bad things from those sites (spyware, viruses, spam) might not effect windows 3.11.
Good for surfing hacker sites, as well.

hackers/cracker/script kiddies are just not writing exploits for these systems anymore. not worth it to them, kinda like linux, not enuff installs to give them a jolly out of it
