What settings need to go into system.ini to return to basic vga 640x480? I keep getting an error from the 386[enh] section.

Run setup and change the display adapter to 'VGA' - if you are unable to do this from Windows, start in DOS and enter the following:

cd\windows

setup

.. and then follow the prompts to change the display driver

fixedfon.fon=vgafix.fon

display.drv=vga.drv

[boot.description]

display.drv=VGA

... and maybe more.

There's really no reason to edit the INI file manually - just run 'setup'
