.swf files- How do you open them

People send me ".swf " E-Mail files and I click on them like other programs. It goes to the web page but a blank page always appears (can't open them). I have Windows XP and Internet Exployer 7.057.

Well, first thing you should do is remove your post from the Windows 3.1 forum, because your problem has nothing to do with Windows 3.1. You should post this problem on the Digital Photo/Video forum.
