I had to reinstall win 3.1 and afterward I tried to create a permanent swap file of at least 8mb. When I reboot a message of the swap file is corrupted and if I want to delete . I previously had a permanent file but can no longer create one. Any suggestions. Thanks

This swap file problem is affecting my hard drive space. I've recently installed IE #4 and the file 386spart.par has grown to 82meg.
Any one of you having such a problem?

I've recently made duplicate copies of my hard drive using XCOPY. Upon reboot I get a message telling me that I have a corrupt swap file. I set it to zero and the problem goes away. Then I set it back to a value 55,408KB and I get the same message. Can anyone help me. Should I run optimization?
