SVGA, Phoenix, HP Vectra problem

Comment:
I downloaded SVGA.exe and used it in SETUP of Windows 3.1 on HP vectra 486 with Phoenix BIOS & Phoenix video circuitry built into main board. The SETUP worked; but when I re-boot, Windows 3.1 displays message "An error occurred during Initialization of video ..." and drops back into DOS 6.20. THe object was to get 256 colors running. Is it hardware or software that needs tweaking? Or was it just not meant to be?

Sorry, the search result didn't carry over. Just type: HP vectra 486 in the search box where Hewlett Packard is written and click on search, your driver is there.

Yeah, that one had me going for awhile. Just right-click and "Open frame in a new window", then use the address in the location box as the link. Doesn't work for the IBM site, though :-(
