I currently am experiencing problems with my soundcard all it does is beep and has no other sound...it is installed in the computor, need help on how to access it or how to reload it or what else to try...I have win 3.11

First make sure that you haven't done something like recently unplug the speakers from your soundcard, then replug them into the wrong port.
Look in MAIN->CONTROL PANEL->DRIVERS to make sure that there is still a driver in there for your soundcard for WAV and MIDI.
Sometimes files just get corrupted and you might try reinstalling the software for your soundcard. If you don't have the disks anymore, you'll have to look for the software at a site like http://www.windrivers.com
It is also possible that the soundcard is french fried, which is no big deal either as you can get low end soundcards for $10.00-$20.00.
