I can't find the right sound drivers for win 3.1 for my soundblaster. None of the pre-installed (microsoft) sound drivers work for my soundblaster. All I have is a jack in the back of my computer, and I have no idea what kind of sound card it is. Can anyone help?

The other things you might look for on your sound card while you have the case open are;

1. Some manufacturer's go so far as to actually have a model number and on the card-less than you would think...

2. If it is a Creative Labs card it will have an actual model number beginning with CT.

3. On some cards you will not find a model number or FCC ID number so write down the information off the largest chip on the soundcard and search for a driver based on that.

Another good driver site is www.driverguide.com
