telnet

Pretty proud of our specs are we?

Why don't they make computers that will do what we think we want them to do?

Must be a forum bug - normally there's a 200 character limit

Speaking of forum bugs, I have noticed some myself. It seems that every time I preview a post, Computing.net eats the final byte of my post, meaning I have to type an extra period at the end of the final sentence in order to actually end with the correct punctuation. It happens in Netscape (if there is at least one paragraph break inside my post), but evidently not in Lynx as far as I can tell. It is quite annoying seeing the final letters vanish one by one in each subsequent preview of my posts....

Going back on topic, there are several telnet clients available for Windows 3.x. I like WinQVT myself, especially when used to telnet into remote Lynx sessions that reside on faster connections than my 56k modem.
