Can anyone recommend me a good, prefably free, screen capture utility for win 3.1/DOS?

Hello What do you mean by screen capture? Do you mean make a copy of what is on the screen? If so, just use your print screen key on your keyboard and then open up paint and paste it there. I have no idea if this is what you are asking or not. Good luck.

Hi Helping Hand.
I was after something which captures windows that are open or parts of the screen and with a bit more functionality than using the PRINT SCREEN Button. There are plenty such programs for 9X upwards. Wondering if there were any for 3.1/DOS.

The program you want is Pizzaz Plus. I once had a copy but haven't seen it for years. I'll dig around in the garage tomorrow.
I believe the authors are out of business now and I also have to assume there is other comparable software out there. Try a google search for a print screen utility.

Hi Tom, I use Analogx's "Capture". It's simple and easy, but I don't know if it will work with windows 3.x. By the by, you might want to downlod one of the bmp --> jpeg or gif programs, in order to reduce the size of these monsters. You'll save on hard drive space and time, if you intend to send them anywhere. John
