Hello Guys,
I just uninstalled a Canon Driver and wanted to istall a HP Deskjet 660C on a Win 3.11 System. But when attemping to install the second Disk, the System demands to restart Windows because the sconfig.dll is running at this moment. How can I install this Printer? And shell I stop this dll anyhow.
Thank you

Read the help file on disk 2:
Installing Through the Control Panel

HP DeskJet printer software cannot be installed through the Control Panel. Use the SETUP.exe program on disk 1 that came with your printer (from the Program Manager, select File, Run..., then type a:\setup).
The link can help you download a fresh copy of the drivers.Good luck.

Thank you but this is what I exactly was doing. After the installation of Disk1 the system requires Disk2 and then a Problem occurs because the sconfig.dll is running. And then I have to schut down Windows and start it angain. But it doesn't help.

Actually, me 'ol dad's had a devil of a time with the deskjet installers...best advice i can give is try their site for an updated installer...their installers can be a bit buggy...and sometimes getting a newer version will help..might be a challenge because their site uses "install on demand", but you might be able to get a standalone installer that's more recent....
http://www.hp.com and just fill in the buttons....
