Hi, ive been trying to get my soundblaster live working in dos via the creative 16bit emulation. It works fine in DOS, but whenever i go into windows 3.11 after ive loaded the sbeinit.com file, (which i need to make the soundcard work in DOS), the computer reboots. Thus, i can only load windows without the 16bit soundblaster driveers, therefore, no sound in windows. Is there anyway i can overcome this problem?

Have you tried just using the DOS soundblaster emulation for Windows as well? I really don't know if it would work, but Windows 3.1 is really just a DOS program anyway. Instead of loading the Windows drivers for the actual hardware, use the old built-in Soundblaster driver in Windows 3.1 for the original Soundblaster 1.0 or 1.5 and maybe it will use the emulation just like the DOS programs do.
